Have you recently started learning the piano or you’ve wanted to enter a piano competition but thought it might be a bit scary? Join us for a very special FUN piano competition aimed at beginner and newbie pianists where you can perform a piece by Rosa Conrad, Marcel Zidani or Olly Wedgwood and receive feedback from the composers themselves. You can even ask the Rosa to accompany you for the Duet performance!
We will give out medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. You will receive written feedback and a certificate.
All proceeds from audience tickets will go to Westminster House Youth Club in Nunhead. In 2018, we raised £210 for WHYC and we’d like to beat that total in 2019!
The venue has an upright Kawai piano. You may bring your own accompanist for the duet class or ask Rosa to accompany you on the day.
SET PIECES:
Class 1: SOLO ~ ROSA CONRAD
Chinatown from Fun, Games and Party Pieces: Beginner Piano (2nd Edition)
Class 2: DUET ~ ROSA CONRAD
